I had the pleasure of participating in the Elizabeth Anne Designs and The Sweetest Occasion Inspired Creations Contest with Photographer Catie Ronquillo, Hair and Makeup Artist Emily Hudspeth and The Left Handed Calligrapher Nicole Black. They were such a great team to work with. We collaborated to come up with some creative and fresh ideas and brought in more great Dallas Wedding vendors to pull it all together:
Ashley Vasicek, Model
Earth Blooms Florist
Event Linen Solution
Ink and Button
Jessica Baker, Model
Jacob Reding, Model
Off The Grid
The White Gown Showroom
So What’s Inspired Creations all about? Wedding professionals were invited to submit a unique wedding concept to Elizabeth Anne Designs and The Sweetest Occasion – be it a guest book, a tabletop, favors, anything we desired – for feature on the blog. The catch? We could spend no more than $500 to create our concept. We came in at $430 with our affordable do-it-yourself picnic.
The goal was to create a concept with personal touches that are inspired and unique, yet approachable and realistic. And as you will see from all of the fabulous submissions, when creating your wedding, your limit is the size of your imagination, not the size of your budget!
The top teams will receive free advertising on the blogs, and your comments, tweets, and links will play a huge part in our decision so please check it out on EAD and leave some comment love!

For more photos, please visit the Urban Rooftop Picnic page on the After Yes Portfolio
Our concept will be blogged on The Sweetest Occasion in upcoming weeks. Stay tuned!
