Stefanie and Richie’s Wedding at The Scottish Rite Cathedral of Dallas

Stefanie Oujezdsky and Richie Auter were married on June 5, 2010 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral of Dallas. They met in college, at A&M, while taking finance classes and could not be more perfect for each other. Their wedding was elegant and classy — the perfect family gathering on a hot summer day.

Stefanie and Richie are both auditors and have great attention to detail. The black, red and white color scheme was carried throughout every aspect of the wedding and they even added some Aggie flair.

Congratulations to the lovely couple!

A Flawless Face in Wedding Photos

Wedding pictures hold some of the happiest memories of a lifetime, so be sure you consider all the angles when preparing to be photographed on the big day.

In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding…

Plan your procedures ahead- it’s easy to get caught up in the craziness of tastings, fittings and appointments and forget to schedule facial treatments until the last minute. Don’t be tempted to get microdermabrasion or chemical peels within at least a month of the event, depending on the exact type of laser or peel. Laser resurfacing “heals within days and normal color returns within a few weeks- if that long” according to Dr. Edward Lack (Chicago liposuction). Even a simple facial shouldn’t be considered in the last few days leading up. Call well ahead of time and discuss this with the technician.

Best Wedding Gifts

If you are attending a wedding and need a great gift idea, you are in the right spot. If you are a bride or groom, here are some things to think about when someone asks, “what can I get you as a wedding gift?”

1) Money: While you may think this is impersonal or uncreative, money is the number one thing a newly married couple needs. Get a nice a card and insert cash or check. It’s easy and practical.

2) A Big/ Expensive Registry Item: The bigger, expensive items on a couple’s registry are probably what they want the most and what they may not be able to afford on their own. If it’s too much, consider splitting among friends.

3) A Luxurious Hotel Room: If the couple doesn’t have arrangements for their wedding night, surprise them with a luxurious hotel room or upgrade the room they have booked.
