On October 25, 2010, we hosted a very special After Hours with After Yes, featuring Branching Out Floral & Event Design, along with Mi Piaci Italian Restaurant. We wanted to really show off Mi Piaci’s recent renovation’s and showcase the event space, so we brought in everything a great reception needs, including a bride and cake. It was a great time with wedding industry friends and brides-to-be. We also gave away a dress cleaning and preservation from yours truly at After Yes and a Mi Piaci gift certificate.

ABC Dallas-Ft. Worth Wedding Planner Training & Membership Drive
The Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) is hosting two fantastic events on November 15. We’re so excited to be a part of ABC and share what they have to offer.
First up, the Novice Training Seminar for Wedding Planners/ Consultants. If you are interested in becoming a wedding planner, just starting out, or are a pro in need of a refresher course, this is the course for you. ABC members, you will be earning valuable membership points. This seminar also meets the annual educational criteria for ABC membership renewal. Topics to include:
- How do you make money?
- Contracts with Bride
- Advanced Selling Techniques
- Advertising Workshop
- Meeting with the Bride
- Crisis Management
DFW Fall Shootout
We have teamed up with our friends, Dallas Wedding Photographer Catie Ronquillo and hair and makeup artist Emily Hudspeth to bring you a fabulous fall-inspired setting. Mix and mingle with other photographers, practice your skills and build your portfolio.
