We found this cute DIY project on Green Wedding Shoes by Wednesday Inc. and had to share it with you. These rope letters can add a fun, personal touch to many elements of your reception. The best part? You can make these letters in about 10 minutes. Enjoy!

First, mix the cornstarch, glue and warm water together in a mixing bowl until all the clumps are gone.

Next, start feeding the rope into the glue mixture, making sure the entire rope is completely covered. Keep in mind, the longer the word you are trying to spell, the more flimsy the rope will be dried.

Now it’s time to write out your word with the rope! Apply extra pressure in the areas where the rope overlaps. You may also need to apply extra glue mixture to those areas to make sure the rope holds when it dries.

Now you’re done! Once you’ve finished, let your word dry on a hard, flat surface for at least 12 hours.

Looking for a fun, inexpensive craft to add some color to your bridal shower, wedding reception or anniversary party? We found the cutest paper flower tutorial on 100 Layer Cake and needed to share it with you. Enjoy!

Here’s what you’ll need:
Tissue Paper
Scissors
Stapler (or string)

Step One: Cut tissue paper to desired size. Choose three colors, using 3 sheets for the center and about 5 to 6 sheets for the other and stack in the desired order.

Step Two: Fold the tissue paper like an accordion.

Step Three: Staple the center of the tissue paper tightly. If the stack is too thick, use floral wire or string.

Step Four: Gently pull each sheet of tissue paper to the center. But don’t worry if one rips! You will scrunch the paper closely together and no one will notice.

Now you have the perfect decoration to match your color scheme for any party or occasion. Happy crafting!
If you are having a winter wedding, purchasing a wedding dress wrap is a must have. You can wear the wrap while taking photos outside, or wait and just wear it during the exit. We love the cozy, chic feel it brings to a winter wedding. Take a look at our inspiration!

The best part about a wedding wrap is there are so many different types to reflect your personality and match the style of the dress. If you want to add a little more bling to your wrap, add a broach of your choice to the center.

You can also choose a fake faux cover for a more dramatic look, or lace or a similar style that matches the style of your dress.

We love when brides add a wrap to their wedding day attire to keep warm or to look fabulous. Which look do you like the most?

Pomander balls, or kissing balls, are not just for flower girls anymore. While they are still super cute and easy to hold for little girls, you can also use them in many other areas of your wedding. Check out our ideas.

Let your maids get in on the fun too! By using pomanders instead of bouquets, you get all the color and floral you want with no stems. They are also great if you like the look of a perfectly round arrangement. Your girls will love holding a single ribbon down the aisle.

Add them to your reception decor. Using a variety of sizes, pomander balls are a great addition to your table decor, both sitting on the table or hanging from a stand or branch.

Use them for aisle decor. Pomanders are great for hanging from ceremony chairs. Want less color? Your pomanders can be covered in moss with as many or as few blooms as you desire.

We hope you feel inspired to add pomander balls to your wedding decor. They can even be made of tissue paper and used at bridal showers and bachelorette parties.
