Depending on the age of flower girl you choose, you have to expect the unexpected. They may be tired, hungry, shy, or freeze up in front of all the wedding guests. From crying to temper tantrums to not throwing the flowers, anything i possible so make sure you are okay with this before you ask the little sweetheart to share the runway on your big day. However, these acts won’t take away from your day. If anything it will make it more memorable. Most guests think little girls are cute no matter how they act and they may even find it funny.
She’s the smallest wedding attendant but picking your flower girl’s attire can be really fun. Let’s face it, little girls can pull off anything and look absolutely adorable. Still, you want to have your flower girl fit into the style and theme of your wedding. After all, her grand entrance is right before yours.
She would look cute wearing a halo of flowers or greenery in her hair, or holding a banner that has a cute saying like “here comes the bride” or “uncle ____ here comes your girl.”
Huge tutu dresses are one of my favorite things. Even if poofy tulle isn’t your style, it will still look precious on your flower girl. For accent pieces, you could dress up a cute basket for the petals to be held in with your initials, ribbon, or flowers.
Don’t forget a small gift for your flower girl. A little bracelet or necklace would make her feel like a princess or a t-shirt telling everybody that she is the flower girl for her to wear at the rehearsal.
